Why is it possible to start a game while the time is still running in another game?

They don’t focus on your game, they just let the time run down playing another game. And you have to wait till the cows go home.

Ppl who let time run out and start another game should be reported and then banned

When one of these games is rated it is a form of sandbagging.
It does indeed facilitate letting time run out.
Imagine you play over the board. Your opponent is walking around. You make your move and your opponent still is not at the board. Then you get up and you find your opponent playing blitz games on another table.

Who is talking about sanbagging/playing mutiple games at one time? I am talking about leaving a lost game till the time runs to zero with the sole purpose of making an insult to the opponent, period. The only importance of the fact that we can see our missing opponent playing another game is that we have proof that he didn’t have any reason the leave the game in a hurry, like an emergency, and it was indeed an insult. I put these players immediately in my blocking list. I don’t want to play them ever again.

Ok, but this situations are different, when i play two games, for example one classic and one rapid i may lose both, but of course not on time, i just play and swich from one game to the other, it is my time and if i am able to run it into two games i think there is nothing bad about it
