Feature request: private study for team

Not important to me personally. But during the summer period some of my club members are presenting specific openings at the club and we're playing tournaments with those openings. We do this to pass the time between seasons.

And there I sorta got the question: "is there a way of publishing that material on Lichess, without telling all other clubs about my repertoire?"

So this is more for various fellow club members who prepare stuff for instruction at my club. None of whom are looking to use specialized plugins or anything like that. They wouldn't know how to.

Yes, but then you would have to invite a whole list of players specifically. My club team has more than 100 members. That really doesn't help.

That is an interesting read, thank you. And of course... as a developer I know what that's like. You definitely don't want to add everything people ask for. And that's not just a budget thing, it's also maintaining the code, etc.

I thought the question asked at my club was at least interesting enough to post it here. I'm perfectly willing to accept whatever happens (or doesn't).
I wonder how hard it would be to add a feature where you make a study password protected and share the password with the team members. Maybe that would be simpler than adding team studies.
That's the only reason why I wrote the "specialized addon", to separate features from the main codebase. But there is only so much one can do on the client only.
