I think there should be a comment section in each puzzle where users can discuss variations and other issues concerning the puzzle.
This issue has already been raised here
lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/puzzle-comments-2 but there was no answer from the lichess team
You can turn of "Jump to the Next Puzzle Immediately" and after the puzzle is over, go to the original game and discuss in the chat.
#2 there is no need to turn it off, simply go to your puzzle dashboard and select puzzle history. Nevertheless, I find it unsatisfactory that, beyond liking/disliking the puzzle and its tags (other than the ones lichess adds), there is no way to comment on the puzzle. Nor is there any explanation.
For these reasons (and because I believe Crazyhouse > Chess) I like chessvariants.training (yes, .training is a domain name).
