Banned for losing games due to my internet connection loses.

Due to my internet connection issues, I've been losing a lot of games lately. That alone is painful to bear coz I know I have a really good WiFi. In almost every game I play I receive the "Reconnecting" message and I lose games without even getting a chance to make the first move. My real complaint though is, is it really nessecarry to be banned for losing games due to internet connection problems?

I know this problem very well. The game is nearly won, then the internet connection goes down. Three strikes like this and you are banned.

How is Lichess to know whether you're disconnecting or getting genuine internet problems? And though it's annoying for you, imagine what it's like for your opponents.

Can't you sort your internet problems out, perhaps by changing provider? I don't think there's any other solution, is there? Perhaps play correspondence games?
