If you think people get f'ed up in boxing, mma and football, you never watched chess boxing
It is similar to why violent/action games and movies are popular.

I used to box in the Navy,took tae kwon do as a kid,just a green belt,wrestled in high school so from my perspective a really good match is an exhibition of skill and mental acuity. The feint,the set up,the slip of the punch and other factors. The right punch at the right time. Timing is so essential. Sure it is a blood sport but it's also a game of the mind.
I played football also and it is not just power but a game of force vectors, deception and control of time and space.

Boxing is the kind of sport that shows not like yours, but more mental stability. I found it very interesting to watch two boxers watching each other before a fight. Also the coolest knockouts happen in the last fights, when they are already tired. It's one of those sports that's very interesting to watch

I played football and hated it I’m glad you found some beauty in it lol. There are some people on earth I just can’t move and I’m cool with that. My coaches always made it about Jesus but I think it’s closer to satan probably when you’re trying to kill the guy or really f him up lol. Maybe that’s why they talked about Jesus so much

Ya it’s awesome to watch someone get f’ed up in boxing or hockey or nascar I agree. Or in football everyone loves a big hit where a guy just gets completely obliterated it’s great like wow that must have caused brain damage that was awesome
