nearly identical, slight border changes in the east and demographic shifts

Similar, but with an altered coastline due to rising sea level.

Im just going to read you an exerpt from the news on sept.2 2050.
Today, being a Saturday ,the እዚህ መልከ ኦ ሞድር ላይ ጥቁር ሶዋች የሚመለኩበት ቀን በመሆኑ ሁለችሁም በደስታ እንድትፀልዩ እንመኛለን::
በተያያዘ ዜና , ወደ አፍሪካ በህገ ወጥ መንገድ ለመግባት ሲሞክሩ ሲሉ, ፪ ሺ፫፭፩ ሰዋች በፖሊስ ተይዘዋል።

Their prisons overflowing and violence in the streets becoming more and more out of control they will adopt many of the same practices as the United States currently has in an attempt to manage things.

Massive prisons and police presence to maintain control of the population. Creation of gated communities to keep the wealthy and powerful safe.

Eventually leading to a strict authoritarian system since the average person will prefer being ruled over rather than live in chaos.

The earth will split into several continent and each continent will be ruled by a ruling power

I don't know if that's exactly an American idea now

I think Europe will look the exact same in 2050 as now, if Judgement Day hasn't come yet.

Economical crises
Energy problems
Alimentation problems
Political crisis and violence everywhere on the streets

Im from Europe and I think that Europe will become a very political continent in 2050
