I was always liberal. Past election subversion vs Bernie Sanders really opened my eyes to how corrupt Washington is. I think Trump is still a bad guy, but he's at least going to do good for the country.
Softening the militant posturing toward Russia is the one plus of the Trump presidency so far. The rest is just a massive gift party for corporate oligarchs.
The problem is the "Democratic" party has basically morphed into the Republican party over the last several decades while the Republican party isn't even really a party anymore, in the traditional sense. It's some kind of apocalyptic cult.
