CO2

Good work people, wish I had the time to push back against climate change skeptics but alas I have a draining job to do :P. Its incredible how much effort needs to be put in to counter these false beliefs though. And this is just ONE person on the internet. And even after all these studies, it still probably won't be enough. It makes you feel kind of powerless sometimes

> so, i summarize: even if i reverse all your statements so far, they are false ;) you used Heartland Institute and Nir Shaviv to back your points. Thats the same anyway, because Shaviv has been a speaker for the Heartland Institute. That is at the very core of climate change denial. You mentioned a book "Die Kalte Sonne" (co authored by RWE, a kinda fossil fuel company), thats already refuted. In fact, it refuted itself over the years, because in the years after this publication, global heating could be measured, despite the prediction of the publication. see also: www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2016/11/record-heat-despite-a-cold-sun/

Nah, you do not understand.

Subsidies of Fossil Fuel == Free Market.

Heavy Subsidies of Wind and Solar Power == Commies

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCarthyism

And you also need to pretend the Fossil Fuels have not been given subsides for way more years.

;-P

This is what I call double standards. You've got to answer everything they throw at you like if you're their slave while at the same time they can avoid answering your question.

They drag you at their level and beat you with experience.

See that is why, I think you guys should insist on pointing out to this person. Hey, you've been wrong about like 10 things in a row now. First when he said one volcano emits more CO2 than all of humankind. Then when he quoted the Heartland institute as if it was a reliable source. There were likely many other instances, that I can't recall.

This person needs to have their feet held to the fire. They need to openly and honestly admit that they don't know what they were talking about. They need to admit they used bad sources. And that if they've been wrong this frequently, what does that say about the rest of the things they believe in? There needs to be this intervention, because the issue is psychological. Some thing is psychologically wrong with these people.

Because otherwise you're right...they will endlessly jump from one claim to the other, never realizing that they have been wrong hundreds of times, and still thinking they are the smart ones and everyone else is a sheep. The Jordan Peterson's of the world, completely and utterly oblivious to their own stunning lack of education. Someone needs to sit down and talk to them, clearly point out how and why they are wrong, and get them to admit it, and stop promoting the same lies.

Can you talk to my boss? Please explain to him that my hobby/passion is 24/7 full time job. ;-P
