As per the topic. I'm referring to API calls like:
http://en.lichess.org/api/user/OhNoMyPants/games?nb=5&page=1Which is now returning a 501 / not implemented. Alternatively is there another API method that's still supported to grab a user's recent games? I could just scrape the game IDs off the user page, but that's pretty hacky.
+1, same here. If there's anything I can do to help restore the API I would be happy to! Will check in on IRC to say the same.
The API will be back tomorrow.
Clients get a credit of 10,000 renewed every 10 minutes.
The cost of a query is = nbPerPage * page.
Examples:
- request 10 last games = 10 * 1 = 10 credits
- request 100 games on page 3 = 100 * 3 = 300 credits.
These numbers may change in the future, especially in case of API DDoS.
Great, thanks for the update.
Yeah that budget seems very generous for normal use. An aggressive 10x1 every 10 seconds search for new games is only 6% of the budget.
I seem to still be getting a 501 on the query in the first post from here.
Awesome. Working. Much appreciated.
What is the use and function of API can someone please tell me.I can't understand the data from calling this
lichess.org/api/user/OhNoMyPants/games?nb=5&page=1@rohangupta4398 #9 this is JSON, a data exchange format.
http://www.json.org/format it with eg.
jsonformatter.curiousconcept.com/and you will probably understand a bit better.
