Why the Opposition to Draws?

Mr. Alex_slow, thanks for your comment. I think it's wrong to ask for a draw in a complex position that could go either way. I call these people quitters. I don't like quitters and I don't want to play chess with them.

I noticed we have something in common. We both play only slow classical games and we never play anything else. Some interesting differences: I use the very slow time control 10+10. You prefer a much slower time control. I'm currently better than 97% of classical players. You are better than 99.8% of classical players. I'm impressed. You would kill me at chess.
The worst are the people who offer a draw immediately after realizing that they are about to lose.
Not sure if this site is any different than others, however not uncommon for internet chess to play drawn postions out to point of ridiculousness ie; Rook and King vs. Rook and King, Bishop of Op etc.
@BobC this might blow your mind but, when you chose to block a person because of ONE draw request, instead of fighting him other games, the real quitter is you, not him.
You're the one finding the easy way out.. think about it.

@BobC Besides how does blocking help?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't prevent you from playing them...
Perhaps I should clarify what I mean by a draw-worthy position. What I mean by this is both players have set up strong defenses, and any attempt to assault the defenses will lead to a terrible position on the part of the attacker.
"Besides how does blocking help? I'm pretty sure it doesn't prevent you from playing them..."

That's the point. They can never be my opponent if I block them.

"when you chose to block a person because of ONE draw request, instead of fighting him other games, the real quitter is you, not him."

I don't care about your opinions sir. These quitters, by the way, have almost always lost the game. They are a waste of my time. I don't like quitters and I don't want to play chess with them.
@BobC I checked out your rating - if that's the case, then at your level of play, that's the case. But at my level of play, close to the center of the bell curve (about 1500), the people who keep pushing are the ones who lose.
@BobC
I see in your profile you're a Trump supporter... you should use his example. Would Trump run away from an opponent (blocking) or fight him?
I think you should be a little more like Trump and fight instead of quitting.
