I know this thread is not created to smash @Sarg0n, but actually the most of your post are trolls.
I dont know you personally and maybe it's just the fact i'm too stupid to understand your sense of humor, but you seems to consider yourself more important than other because you're a good chess player.
You should put some humility in your posts and this way you could avoid those reactions, btw it's just an advice from a weak player :D

This is an odd thread. Sarg0n's post seemed harmlessly funny to me. I am curious what people are finding offensive about it.

Let's move back to the original subject of this post. This thread is to know how the new FIDE chess clock works and not about commenting about @Sarg0n posts.
Everyone is free to write what they want in a forum as long as it's not insulting or offensive, and I didn't find sargon's posts offensive, he said that it was a joke.

Many people on Lichess easily get their feelings hurt and are not happy unless they find something to offend them. It is quite sad to be honest but I suppose Clint Eastwood was right when he said this younger generation is one of p****** lol

Personally, I found Sargon's joke funny - I never have liked FIDE and probably never will.

The story is that FIDE is just a cash grabbing organization and does everything in their power to pad their bottom line and make money.

The joke is you need to put down a payment in order to learn about FIDE's new clock...get it now?

Not really. has Fide developed a new clock and sells it for money? Do they enforce that clock in tournaments? Xplain.
