Every online game will have a problem with cheaters, chess included.

The difference between lichess and other chess sites is, on lichess they get caught, every time. On other sites they can rampage for a very long time.

If you worry about cheaters, you can just quit playing chess online altogether Wesley. Or, you can check the profile of the players and evaluate games played. This guy had 100 games, that's nothing.

I'm curious, where exactly do you consider going to not face cheaters? That place doesn't exist.

Ok, I will confess now. lichess.org is the only place where I don't cheat! I beat many GMs on ICC and didn't get banned, do you wanna go there?

Lol, I even cheated in 1+0 on ICC with no bot...

@Sir_Pinsalot there are much fewer cheaters on ICC since you have to pay a membership to play. And atm there are more GMs and IMs playing there which is far less likely that they would cheat.

As lichess will grow more GMs and IMs will join and playing against those players will guarantee a very low chance of playing against cheater.

doanddu I am calling you a cheater to your mask face. It is sick to CHEAT anywhere but especially in an online, non rated no money GAME. I see I am at a disadvantage here using my real name while other players hide behind masks they just change every time they get caught. Lichess my advice is charge a yearly fee to play here and get these guys real names. That way at least you have their credit card number and can ban them permanently. A lot of sick people out there acting out because they think they're anonymous.
