Chrome extension that enables you to play chess with your keyboard on Lichess!

After seeing that I decided to code the same thing, but built into lichess. It's done and will be available tommorow.

I like the idea. But would it be possible to add an alternative input method using the notation? So you only have to type once and at the same time improve skills to visualize positions by notation.

How do I select the type of piece I want to move to a square? It seems that I can only type 2 characters into the box, so for example, Be4 doesn't work - I get as far as "Be" and then the box clears (with no move played obviously). Am I missing something?

Be4 is not a coordinate, that's why. e2 and e4 are coordinates.

How do I specify which piece I want to move to a square if there is more than one that can get there? I can only move pawns with the keyboard (that's why I assumed I had to add B, N, Q, K or R, but that is obviously not right).

I'm dismayed that you can't guess it. Means the feature is not usable.

How do you move a piece with the mouse? You don't just click the destination square. You click on the origin square then destination square.
