The defamation case as to Carlsen became much stronger after what he did resigning the game with Niemann yesterday. It relates to the context of his statements and actions. The same for chess dot com. Unless he has real evidence that Niemann cheated in St. Louis, he should do the right thing and apologize. Chess deserves better than what he's engaged in.
