Can Lichess detect computer assistance for individual moves?

@MeWantCookieMobile "I know ICC does it because I use to run my engine on FICS as a stand alone at the same time as running my ICC account and they detected that. Both accounts were legal. But because they "Detected" the algorithm the site automatically banned my account without question."

What did they detect? Two processes connected or what?
@petri999

It was interesting. At the time I didn't know they had the capability or I would have kept the engine off FICS while I was playing. But it detects the actual engine running. Right down to the source and can even tell which engine you are running. When they confronted me they were like "We know you had a version of crafty running." There is a spyware module written into the source code in timestamp. It's been well documented since that time period. Pretty much everyone that understands how timeseal/timestamp works knows that ICC has spyware in their version. Crafty was the one that day. And most of the time I ran TCB. Granted back then Crafty was the most used engine, though I have heard about other instances where they literally told people what engines they had on as long as it was on their system. Kind of cool I think.
