What to do when the pieces look very fuzzy?
Pieces do look very fuzzy on my end too
The two major problems are: the very big fonts and the distractingly big clock digits. Fonts size are for people with visual impairment, sorry to say.
For someone like me, who browses between games, it causes literally a headache. Check the screenshot to see what I mean.

the graphic design is awful
the new colors are not good
it feels like we are using lichess in 1977
board size in the game is not bad but everything else is just veryy bigg and wide
for example the clock is very big
why should the clock be like that?
u say it fits your screen but does fitting screen mean to be bigger than normal?
does it mean to be ugly and abnormal?

when you zoom out the board becomes a little blurred
it's not that good as it was before

TO the people who say "just zoom in your browser to resize the board" - which browser are you on????
If I zoom in Brave (Chrome based browser) the board stays exactly the same size, but everything increases in size.
I cannot believe you didn't catch this in testing. I also can't believe you wanted to fix something that wasn't broke.
I am sure this redesign is great for mobile - but for desktop it's horrible.
Try and run a statistic and see how many people logged on today, played 1 game, and then left the site. There you will have your true satisfaction ratio with the redesign. Don't believe the sycophants here, people will always try to suck up to get internet points.

What happened to the Quality Assurance part? It's just beyond terrible on 13 inch screen. The clock is visible only by vertical scroll, and the board is smaller than the controls and chat. Should we make some plugins to fix your mistakes, or will you? Thank you.
