Blitz chess is killing real chess

I do not think blitz is killing classical chess. Players generally understand the distinction and choose to play either or both or even neither (bullet , etc.) for their own reasons but most would agree that a) bullet is an acquired taste and not very serious b) blitz is way more "chess" than bullet is but still far removed from the level of classical c)rapid is closer to classical than to blitz and d) chess strength in classical tends to carry the most weight.
