Who the heck are those guys you name user-created tournaments after? Can it be named after great past & present players instead?

You're welcome; I believe it will pay out in a form of satisfaction of Lichess' players with new list, "colored" with familiar chess names.

Thanks for your kind efforts as well. :) And, of course, Thibould's.
Alright, I've cleaned up all the names. I did them one by one, googling each one. I had to remove a few, correct a lot of spelling errors, change transliterations, and I added a few that I couldn't find (esp. authors of famous chess books, like Chernev and Soltis)... but it's finally done!

I'll get started on places soon, but I can't help but think that it could be confusing. I mean, we are referring to physical locations. People might think a tournament is actually being held there, when that is evidently not the case.

So I'm not sure if I will include those, but names are definitely a go. I will be integrating them shortly, just gotta run the Unix sort command (maybe piped to sed), a couple of macros, and then it will only be the coding left to do (which will be trivial) on Thibault's end!
Thanks a lot once again to all Lichess team; I believe chess lovers deserve a chess-familiar names to be applied to their created tournaments, therefore I am very happy to be given a chance to participate in this little "project".
About Chernev and Soltis, I definitelly agree, they deserve well their own place among the listed chess names and I'm glad you mentioned them ... sure, it happes, it's too easy to any maker of chess names to "slip" some names who deserve to belong to such list.
Do not forget to add few "Easter Egg" to the names list.
If you need some ideas about that - just ask me, I have a lot (Freddy Kruger arena, Ben-Laden arena, Poltergeist arena, Chupacabra arena, etc.)
Will be in soon, probably in an deploy or two (so two days or so!).
