Shatranj, the game of 64 squares, where 2 Kings Black & White show off their skills, dominance and bravery on the battlefield but ultimately emerges 1 winner. So warriors pick up your side and show off your bravery but not with swords or spears, but with your intelligence and control over your chess pieces on the battlefield of 64 squares.

ENTRY FEES- RS 50

RULES AND REGULATIONS :

  1. Each match will be conducted in 'lichess.org' website. Rapid chess will be played where each player will have 10 minutes with no time increaments.

  2. Organizers won't be accountable for the troubles caused by poor network and technical errors.

  3. Try to stay in the website for the entire duration of the tournament. Any form of cheating, use of reference software or otherwise during the competition is prohibited. Players found using such means will be disqualified.

  4. Swiss format will be followed and total 6 rounds will be played.

  5. After creating the tournament by the organizers. Password for entering the tournament will be shared in the respective WhatsApp group

  6. Registrations open till 30th November.

  7. All the participants will be added in a WhatsApp group.

NB:

  1. Rule 4 can be changed according to the number of registered participants.

  2. In case of any confusion the decision taken by the Game Committee will be the final verdict.

  3. Please text your WhatsApp number, Name and lichess user name in the WhatsApp group formed for the competition.

  4. We would recommend you to get accustomed with the lichess website and tournament pattern in the app to avoid any confusions during the tournament.
