  1. Subversio (12.c3) I'm just about out of prep. It's still even here.
  2. Subversio (12...Bd6) My opponent has a very high win percentage as black so I think they're pretty dang strong compared to what their rating is
  3. Subversio (12...Bd6) This is the first move I haven't looked at. Now to play some chess
  4. Subversio (14...Rae8) So I don't think that exd4 is a threat? Think I've always got g5 right now but trying to calculate some of those lines
  5. Subversio (14...Rae8) Thinking about just a4 to take space and continue prevent some ideas like b5
  6. Subversio (14...Rae8) actually I don't think g5 works here. Think I need to defend it
  7. Subversio (15.Bd3) Not sure what I'm playing if I'm him. Maybe just h6 but Nc4 looks appealing for me
  8. Subversio (15...h5) Oh interesting. Just g5 h4 maybe? Looks wrong to me somehow
  9. Subversio (15...h5) Maybe g5 Nc4 also. think we definitely start with g5 though.
  10. Subversio (17...Bc7) a4 and h4 both look pretty decent to me. Think I'm just deciding between them
  11. Subversio (18.h4) Lets restrict the h7 knight.
  12. Subversio (19.Ne3) I've got some ideas here. position seems pleasant. Now lets see how I can mess it up
  13. sgis Go subversio!
  14. Subversio (25.Be3) Aaaand suddenly feeling less pleasant
  15. Subversio (25...Rd5) Great move
  16. Subversio (26.Rf1) Feeling slightly tied into a knot. Think I'll be able to unwind it though. Just might still be worse afterward
  17. Subversio (31.Kg2) Not looking great down 2 pawns :/
  18. Subversio (34.Kf3) Bf2 and I'm toast
  19. Subversio (42...Kg4) a6, accurate. Not much here. Will play a little longer but position is pretty toast
  20. The_Wayward_Prince I thnk h5 had to be wrong
  21. Subversio Yeah
  22. Subversio I thought so too
  23. Subversio But I completely missed Ne5 which was just a great move and crushing from there
  24. The_Wayward_Prince I was trying to find some way to use my dynamic advantage
  25. The_Wayward_Prince My idea was to break with f6
  26. The_Wayward_Prince and open the f-file
  27. The_Wayward_Prince but I think it was a bit naive
  28. Subversio Ah yeah. I didn't think pushing the f pawn would ever be good. Was almost always going to play g6 anyway
  29. Subversio Not sure it would have been good but would have make things complicated at least
  30. The_Wayward_Prince From looking at your games you seem to like to make things complicated
  31. Subversio Hah, it's true. I like more tactical positions but sometimes it backfires like this :p
  32. The_Wayward_Prince I think though h3 in the fantasy is definitely wtong
  33. Subversio Probably not a great trait honestly. Should work on keeping things simpler
  34. The_Wayward_Prince I had that idea prepared since you always do that in blit
  35. The_Wayward_Prince blitz
  36. Subversio h3 is the top engine move surprisingly
  37. Subversio Still all even but I thought I'd go for it since I didn't see any games that you've played against it
  38. The_Wayward_Prince I don't think it's correct, though. It wasn't in my caro book, but I think after queen check and then back you have your hands full
  39. The_Wayward_Prince Usually Ive found that when a line is not mentioned in my book, it's wrong. I just have to figure out why. Usually at least
  40. Subversio Ahh gotcha
  41. The_Wayward_Prince was ready for it though since I saw that you played it
  42. Subversio Yeah, I might start castling instead honestly. Just gets king a little safer and reopens that Bxf7 threat
  43. Subversio I just am not as much of a fan of the positions that follow and natural development by black
  44. The_Wayward_Prince Castling is the main line. There's also the move c3 after Bc4
  45. Subversio after natural*
  46. The_Wayward_Prince which you might enjoy. The idea is to play Qb3 as a follow up where b5 doesn' work for white
  47. The_Wayward_Prince So black has to find the move Bh5 basically I think there, which is hard to spot if you don't know it
  48. Subversio Ahhh, I've never tried that but it looks right up my alley. Maybe I'll give it a shot soon
  49. Subversio Thanks!
  50. The_Wayward_Prince Thanks for the game
  51. Subversio Yeah, well played.
