  1. NonNocere Originally I wanted to go f5, but after ef Bd5 Bf3 i can have big troubles with my white squares and king, cause pawn on f5 is protected.
  2. NonNocere But f5 stays as an idea here.
  3. NonNocere But not now :D
  4. H_Badorties doesn't 21...Nbxa4 work?
  5. H_Badorties 22.Rxa4 Nxa4 23.Qxa4 Bxd4! 24.Nxd4?? Qxa4
  6. Treksy There is some tactic but I don't see clear
  7. H_Badorties yeah, he has played it
  8. NonNocere Im getting low on time unfortunately. Hope there is no tricks :D
  9. H_Badorties Nb5 is pinned to the queen at the end
  10. NonNocere Goal is to exchange a for b and maybe win e for c pawn.
  11. urjah this feels like a critical position; I could either try to go after his king or take the small amount of material and try to consolidate
  12. NonNocere Without e pawn white should be lost, but ofcourse i do not see clear way to get this pawn.
  13. urjah so how is the position after Rxa4 Nxa4 Qxa4 Ba6
  14. H_Badorties his comments show that he has not yet seen the problem with Rxa4.
  15. H_Badorties I like Bxc4 for white though
  16. Treksy what with black c pawn?
  17. Treksy yes
  18. Treksy I thougt the same
  19. H_Badorties a5 is hanging as well once Black moves Na4
  20. urjah this might be too fancy
  21. Treksy Wowow
  22. urjah it seemed like my knights get in trouble in the normal variations
  23. H_Badorties interesting move indeed
  24. Treksy What about Bxd4 and Nxd4 Ba6 and we have b line for black rook?
  25. Alex_slow bx nx ba6 fg qxg4 rg3
  26. H_Badorties giving up the black squared bishop would be dangerous for black I guess - the black squares around black's king would be very weak
  27. Alex_slow not sure if I wanted to be black in that line
  28. NonNocere Ba6 f6 and all of exchanges looks very scary
  29. NonNocere Playing position with all open lines and without black square bishop is not my dream even if i win something on queenside
  30. Alex_slow now fg qxg4 rg3 - not sure if it works but looks interesting
  31. NonNocere After Bh6 I probably have to sac on f8 on the other hand.
  32. NonNocere Maybe Bf6 wasnt good :(
  33. H_Badorties 23.Bh6 looks natural - maybe after that you could sack the Bg4 with fxg6 like you suggested, Alex?!
  34. Alex_slow fg qx rg3 qd7 (supposedly) gh kh8 bh6 - also looks nice
  35. H_Badorties the position looks quite dangerous for black I guess
  36. urjah even the piece sac with fg and gf looks interesting
  37. urjah or i could defend my bishop and threaten fg
  38. H_Badorties maybe Qh5 instead of Qd7 in your line
  39. H_Badorties but then there's always Rh3 of cause
  40. Alex_slow rg3 right now is also an option
  41. H_Badorties yes
  42. Alex_slow but qd8 and white will not have all these tempi
  43. Alex_slow bh6 also looks good - complicated position
  44. H_Badorties and he has only 2 minutes left
  45. Alex_slow qd1 is not the move I would consider, but maybe he knows it better...
  46. H_Badorties 24...Nxe4 now?
  47. H_Badorties that looks crushing
  48. H_Badorties Nac5
  49. Alex_slow yeah, feels like white were too slow...
  50. H_Badorties Qh5 is a threat :-)
  51. H_Badorties why isn't Qh5 winning??
  52. Alex_slow bxf5
  53. H_Badorties Nx
  54. Alex_slow yes...
  55. H_Badorties that's over
  56. Alex_slow rfb8 - run away!
  57. H_Badorties ah! h8 is covered!
  58. Alex_slow but then bxg5
  59. Alex_slow rb8 qxh7 kf8 bxg5 I meant
  60. Alex_slow I would consider bxg2 for black
  61. Alex_slow white king can also be in danger
  62. H_Badorties Nf3?
  63. H_Badorties Rg1
  64. H_Badorties Kf8 is good enough I guess
  65. Alex_slow bc1+ but still looks lost for white...
  66. H_Badorties yeah, the king just runs
  67. H_Badorties very nice game!
  68. Alex_slow gg
