  1. LuvGangster yay let's go mari!!
  2. Kilderis Nf4 bad move :(
  3. LuvGangster f6 or d6?
  4. Lynnpv hi every1
  5. LuvGangster yay mari's pressing
  6. krispl cause it's our number 1 :D
  7. LuvGangster ^_^
  8. krispl What was wrong with taking c4?
  9. LuvGangster i dunno
  10. LuvGangster i thought that was a mistake
  11. krispl so did I, but maybe there was something...
  12. LuvGangster maybe afraid of not defending his rook with his king
  13. LuvGangster idk
  14. LuvGangster Re7 feels like it forces a rook trade, no?
  15. LuvGangster Ra4?
  16. LuvGangster ah now Ra4
  17. Wolfram_EP that should be a win for black
  18. Wolfram_EP king is too near
  19. mariuseg so g1=Q was probably a blunder, there are stalemate tricks
  20. Wolfram_EP Qa6 Kd7 Qe6 Kd8 Qd6 Kc8 Ke6
  21. Wolfram_EP though
  22. Wolfram_EP I'm still not sure, that's a shame
  23. TMaus black even could've sacced the rook for the pawn, still a win.
  24. Wolfram_EP Ka8 now
  25. Wolfram_EP ah Kd7
  26. Wolfram_EP yeah
  27. Wolfram_EP noooo
  28. Wolfram_EP why not Kd7
  29. Wolfram_EP now Ka8 Kd7 c8 Kc8 stalemate
  30. Wolfram_EP black should return back
  31. mariuseg okay i'm going crazy the king is close enough
  32. Wolfram_EP why not Kd7 again lol
  33. TMaus wtf are you doing black? ^^
  34. Wolfram_EP I don't get what black is doing here
  35. mariuseg wait it's still stalemate
  36. Wolfram_EP what stalemate lol Kd7
  37. Wolfram_EP facepalm
  38. TMaus i got his idea. He tries to flag white
  39. Wolfram_EP ))
  40. TMaus lol
  41. LuvGangster why not kd7?
  42. Wolfram_EP triple facepalm
  43. Wolfram_EP but that's a win
  44. Wolfram_EP eventualle
  45. mariuseg this was a very long game
  46. LuvGangster yay~~
  47. LuvGangster nice job!
  48. krispl congrats
  49. mariuseg I had no control in that last endgame
  50. mariuseg the blunders after Na5 were so stupid
  51. mariuseg Do you usually play the scocth gorath?
  52. GorathGER No, first serious game with it.
  53. mariuseg I was expecting a ruy lopez, and I really don't know my theory on the scotch
  54. GorathGER I didn't see much after 3 hours. Many simple blunders, for example Rf7 instead of Rf8+ and the Rf7+ and takes g7.
  55. GorathGER I usually play the Ruy. I'm here to train alternatives though.
  56. mariuseg yeah, i actually missed that too and was super happy with Ke4 thinking I had the winning chances
  57. GorathGER You had. The draw later on doesn't count.
  58. mariuseg yeah, after Rf7 i had, but i missed that Rf8+ Rf7+ and Rxg7 was possible as well
  59. GorathGER That's an easy draw for me.
  60. mariuseg yeah, I was satisfied with that after being in som much trouble earlier
  61. GorathGER 12.g3 seems strong. SF gives +0.9
  62. mariuseg I didn't even consider that, but yeah the indirect defense of the pawn and bishop on the long diagonal looks good for white
  63. GorathGER Lack of experience from both. That's stuff one has to see once, to even consider it.
  64. GorathGER 15.Nb3 was asking too much of the position. Immediate c5, a5, Bf6 gives you a clear advantage.
  65. mariuseg I felt very happy with my position there, and i was considering c5 and a5
  66. mariuseg I just didn't want the d6 pawn to be too weak, and with a5 the rook was kind of stuck protecting it
  67. GorathGER I was rather lucky you gave me enough time to sort my pieces. Faster play would have worried me more.
  68. mariuseg but the Rb8 didn't exactly do much either
  69. mariuseg I feel like that is an area i have to improve in
  70. mariuseg I'm not taking the initiative well enough
  71. GorathGER Me too. Afterwards it's easy to see. May play was too static, starting with the queen exchange. I didn't have time to stabilize though.
  72. GorathGER Then after the necessary concession Bc3 my structure is worse and I have to defend a slightly worse position.
  73. mariuseg It got really messy when we were low on time
  74. mariuseg Be4 and Na5 was a good plan
  75. mariuseg i missed that 32... Bd7 Nb7 was possible
  76. GorathGER Yes. With my knight stuck on b5 I was later worried about Kc6 and d5, removing c4.
  77. GorathGER Yes, after the rook exchange I finally got coordination.
  78. mariuseg 40. Bxh7 would have been game over
  79. GorathGER I overlooked that I have an escape square on g8.
  80. GorathGER Many possible wins from move 40 to 50. Opening a line on the kingside should win. I only need to speed up my play by 1 or 2 tempi.
  81. mariuseg I'm going to sleep, it's getting pretty late, gg and sorry i was late again :)
  82. GorathGER alright, good night.
