abandonment and resignations in classical

Wondering if anyone else is getting a lot of wins from abandoned games and premature resignation. I’ve had an opponent resign in a slightly better position today (though down material) after offering a draw, which I probably would have taken. Had a 2000 player premove a very strange blunder a couple of games ago and resign as soon as I got myself castled. And two games won by abandonment in the past few days (one where it was +2 in my favour, and one where my opponent was slightly better and a pawn up.). Certainly not complaining about extra ranking points, or disputing anyone’s right to resign, but as someone trying to improve my game I feel like I’ve been missing out on challenging middle games and endgames... this is all classical, generally 60/30 games. Perhaps it’s more common in this longer format? I’d love to know if anyone has any insight or similar experiences... and if anyone of a similar rating wants to come play long games hmu!
