Qualification for 2nd Correspondence Cup - Registration

The qualification tournament for the 2nd correspondence cup will start on 1st June. If you want to participate join this tournament: lichess.org/tournament/jN6gvlyn
For qualification, we will have groups of 5 players. The main tournament that will start in August will also be divided in different groups of 16 players:
Super Cup
Champions’s Cup
Master’s Cup
Beginner‘s Cup
The winners of each qualification group will play in the super cup, the second placed players in the champions cup and so on.
If you have any questions just let me know.
1. Intiating a bullet tournament for a classical event is non sense... These are really two separate world in chess!
2. doing a selection for a cup is also non necessary. You just have to use correspondance rating to balance player through the whole starting tree (first place top seed player, then other player through rating)
I don't really understand. I want to play correspondence not bullet. Am I missing something?
I'm a little confused by the bullet time control as well, can you please explain?
If this is bullet I would like to withdraw. I don't play fast chess that is the domaine of hustlers working Lake Michigan.
Don't worry, guys! If I understand it right, this 'tournament' is just a simple way to register and collect all the players, who want to participante (it's not possible to set up such a signup list with cc time mode).
After registration the participants will play in groups, in corr. chess time mode, 2d/move. Noone has to play bullet.
ok, then the bullet is a misunderstanding but I still think a qualification is not needed for a cup !
I was also confused, but all THANKS to the organizer who no doubt has to work with (against) patched-together systems with poor user interfaces. Maybe we should lay out a set of user requirements for a better-designed system, since web developers are generally more concerned with ensuring the backend systems work together.
Thanks for the clarification, I suspected that it might be something like this. It'd be great if the organiser can confirm too...otherwise I'm on my way to some heavy bullet losses 😂 thanks to the organiser for setting up the tournament, much appreciated.
