This is a lichess-related question, but probably not suitable for the site Q&A, so I post here.
It seems to me that there has been an increase in the number of players over the next week or so. In the evening, CET/CEST, there was about 11k players (this was the daily peak), and yesterday almost 15k. Also, now, at 6 a.m. CEST, there are almost 11k players, while there were surely much less players before (maybe 5 or 6k).
Did you notice the same sudden increase? If so, what is the reason? A fix in the player count? A big advertisement somewhere? Problems on competitor website?
