chess.com V3 - new look

Chess.com sucks. Lichess rocks.

Is this a trick question? No brainer.

So much disdain for chess.com. We all agree that lichess is amazing, but let's have some perspective. Chess.com provides stable income to a lot of professional and semi-professional chess players all the while providing a solid place to find a game anytime against any strength player. The new site there is a big improvement.

I like the new interface (V3) - it's got plenty of bugs but it's nice and reminds me of Lichess.

on capitalism... they provide a whole lot for free including really professional live commentary. They sponsored the recent livestream of the Qatar Masters. I do not hate a place where chess players (non-super GM world champs) can go and make some money.

I'd pay for a membership there is the Gold or platinum allowed you to watch at least like 1 "paid" video/week or something. - or if I had more money lol

Right now there is still plenty of reason to use chess.com but it won't last forever. A lot of things at chess.com should be better by now. Hopefully lichess and chesstempo will be a wake up call for them.

1) this post is no advertisement. I was just curious what other people think :)

2) IMHO it is a big step forward but a bit too late. lichess has many better features when you are interested in playing. chess.com's strong suit are community (much bigger than here) and analysis with IMs and GMs

3) I still prefer lichess though :D

wow it actually seems really good, its way smoother. Bullet can be played easily now!
