1. Have a fun, vibrant team that has lots of nice people and well organised tourneys going on so people enjoy participating in team activities and tell their friends who also join in so as not to miss the fun
2. Don't spam people with "pls join my team" because it's annoying and why should they? Also spam is against ToS...
3. Don't make the team about you, make it about them. As a team leader you are an administrative servant not the lord of an empire.
4. Have a clear vision of what the team is about so potential members know what to expect if they join, and then do your best to follow that vision
5. Only let people you know and trust be team leaders, don't let someone be a leader just because they give you a free logo or something
6. Be welcoming to everyone
