aphantasia and chess

Aphantasia is the suggested name for a condition where one does not possess a functioning mind's eye and cannot visualize imagery. - wikipedia

I was wondering if there are any high rated chessplayers who cannot visualise.
I have this to a certain degree, can't form or hold images in my mind however i sort of visualize "movement" not really sure how to explain it.

Can even play blindfold a bit but i lose the thread usually towards the endgame(this would probably improve with practice). When playing blindfold I don't see the position but i keep a sort of verbal map of where everything is and the relationship between the pieces.
