Lichess v2 is coming

@ioxod #231

> try just a random @mail.com email address.

Please do not recommend using existing mail domains for testing.

For this purpose there are, according to RFC tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2606, @example.com.

@example.com is unfortunately rejected by lichess.dev.
In real operation that's okay, but not on a test server.

But we can use the TLD test, e.g. anna@example.test.
@thibault

I was shocked by the announcement of version 2.

As bad was "so Lichess is minimalistic and functional" shown, but that is the biggest advantage of lichess.

I tested lichess.dev something. It looks okay. Defies design improvements "Lichess is minimalistic and functional".

My recommendations for discussions and documentations:

1. It should be documented that Internet Explorer users should simply install Firefox as a work-around.

(You could also show this hint automatically on the webpage if the internet explorer is used, But I would decide against it. But the documentantion should also be easily seen by a user of the internet explorer.)

2. Current Firefox Extended Support Releases should be supported.

(These should also be tested, which is more important than the latest Firefox version.)

3. No one needs a new machine for Lichess.org version 2.

As a computer expert, I personally use a 10 year old laptop. I do not see any problems. There must be no problems with such old hardware.

(Even 20-year-old hardware should be sufficient if there are current system running security updates.)

Version 2 of lichess seems to fulfill these requirements
Hey @BA40Y, I would rewrite your sentences this way:
@thibault

I was shocked by the announcement of version 2.

As bad was "so Lichess is minimalistic and functional" shown, but that is the most significant advantage of Lichess.

I have tested lichess.dev. It looks okay. Defies design improvements "Lichess is minimalistic and functional."

My recommendations for discussions and documentation:

1. It should be documented that Internet Explorer users should install Firefox as a workaround.

(You could also show this hint automatically on the webpage if the internet explorer is used, But I would decide against it. But the documentation should also be easily seen by a user of the internet explorer.)

Version 2 of Lichess seems to fulfill these requirements.
I really like the new layout on Lichess.dev. The game board screen is beautiful. The only thing I'm not certain of is what displaying above "the fold" currently (at least on my build). This isn't a major issue, but if you haven't settled on the layout completely I thought I would chime in.

OS: Windows 10 v 1809 (Build 17763.437)
Browser: Chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Resolution: 1920x1080
Issue: On the current version of Lichess.org the fold of the page is just under the first three tournament listings. This allows the leaderboard, tournament winners, puzzle of the day, and featured game to all be completely visible without any scrolling. The new version cuts off those things part of the way through and isn't as aesthetically pleasing to have (specifically) the boards cut off for the puzzle and featured game.

This is of course something that I will easily get used to if it isn't changed, but it just isn't quite as aesthetically pleasing as I think it could be.

I wish you the best of luck of moving into the new version and hope you get as smooth of a transition as you are shooting for.
