Of all the women I've met and befriended in real life, none of them shared any interest in Chess.

@vio7 the win rate between two random players of male and female gender means nothing. Also attributing her reasons for leaving the site to you is a bit hubristic.

Offline: in youth chess it is about 10%, in adult chess say 5%.

I doubt that it is more in online chess.
