Should Chess be in the Olympics?

The IOC officially counts chess as a sport. But it isn't featured in the Olympics because it has no physical activity. It isn't a spectator sport. But do you think blitz chess would be fun to see in the Olympics? You can argue that it contains the physical activity of quickly moving pieces.
I dont like watching, nor playing blitz, but i guess rapid chess is a good spectator sport, you can have 10-20 people playing on the same time, and it does not last so long.
I would avow for that. Between 15 and 60 minutes per player would be nice.. And the games would not end boring as in the world championship..
They also count Bridge as an official sport. But as far as mental sports are concerned these will not be shown in the Olympics. The majority of the public cannot follow chess and the faster the time control the less people would grasp what happened.

But that is why we have the olympiad, Which is something us chess fans can look forward too.
It is notable to mention that places like Russia and India would alone generate the revenue to make this a plausable option. But the rest of the world would probably not be as likely to observe.
I would like to see football (NOT SOCCER) in the Olympics.
I think blitz and or short rapid would be great to see in the Olympics. The IOC should at least consider it as an exhibition sport in one Olympic event. Pretty sure it would draw a lot of attention to chess from those that started to follow it after watching. Some people cant do physical activity sports for one reason or another heart conditions, cerebral palsy, brittle bone disorder and the list continues (even though they have paralympics still not everyone can actually participate like people with the above or other conditions).
ALRIGHT HERE I GO, honestly some sports just should not be in the Olympics. Wrestling :D, RUNNING, SWIMMING :P All things that show physical strength and are the base of the Olympics!! Some sports just should not be in the Olympics. Although any sport should have an Olympiad.
