Can't win in tournament

I don't know why, when each time playing in a tournament always loses even with a much much weaker rating, but when playing in a normal game sometimes it can be 3 win streak even with little strong player?

You prefer to play 10+0 when u can choose, but in tournaments you play 5+0. That may be an important reason.

What "important reason" mean? I play both.
