Hikaru's Blitz Repertoire 2023

A wonderful article i was thinking of getting hikaru opening where he played on his PRIME.and i think showing magnus repertoire would be great
Maybe one about /@/serg_01 ? He's impressive on Lichess and he have a good repertory that i still use for myself ))
Maybe you could try nihal's repertoire, interesting to see some of the top speed chess players' opening choices.

Yes, Hikaru is a strong player and even wins using crappy blitz lines. Your anecdotal evidence of you losing against him is also impressive.

That does not change the objective evaluation. And if the same line is played dozens of times, the results will reflect the objective evaluation.
@jahrzehnte

I shared the lines and explained ideas. People can try it and see if that works for them.

I have to say that I didn't expect that after publishing such lines as g6-Bg7-d6-Bd7-Qc8-h5 against Nf3-g3, somebody would come and say: "But engines don't like it". I mean... I kind of know it XD

But if you think that Hikaru only does it for fun, then you are wrong. There are openings that work better for Blitz. To give you one example: In Italian, after Be6, engines always suggest Bxe6 fxe6 b4; however, going for this line in a Blitz game wouldn't be a wise choice because black gets simple moves + attack while white has to defend for quite some time. Instead, if you play something like Bb3 (which Zhigalko always plays - also a great blitz player) then you would get much better results because the play is easier and you always control the game.
