Fastest Improvers in lichess...

@Lidraughtsorg Nice story bro, but Lichess doesn't close accounts for multi-accounting, unless it's abused out of malicious intent—rating manipulation for instance

In terms of 1 year improvement I think there are several people who have gained about ~700-1000 points in a year. I personally have seen about a 800 point improvement the last 8 months. The most impressive rating jump I've ever seen went from about 1300 to 2300 in about a year. I talked to him for some time and although I forget his username he said he didn't use a coach or anything just watched a lot of youtube. I found this particular account impressive because there are lots of players who have meteoric rises to 2000 but then tend to plateau there. Also as you go up the rating ladder a rating gap of 300 can mean significantly more meaningful at some levels. Almost any 1400 can train hard and become a 1700 in a few months, but very few 2000s can train for a few months and become a 2300.

Sorry for double posting but I did some digging and it was this user @geralt27. He went from about 1100 to 2220 in rapid in about a year.

Obviously some of these people who reach expert level in a year are very impressive, but in my opinion it's futile to compare different people's progress. Chess is a constant learning process and with patience and self belief we can all reach a good level (imo)

@calbernandhowbe might be one of them, his ultrabullet rating is impressive.

@pd159 Yah that's what I thought at the time too, but unfortunately I got on sazed bad side, and if your any sort of friends with the mods here you'll know how he is.

Just an FYI to my own rise guys in that same time I only went from 1100 blitz to 1700. Yah at the time I jioned my schools chess team so we had multi hour practices a week probably watched 2 hours of instructive youtube videos a day like Pawngrubber and did about 100 tactics on blitztactics.com ( see my bio for other sites)

BaMM ok guys I win I found the fastest improver on Lichess the user driggerbeast gained 1200 rating points in one month.

I dare anyone to find a user who's not banned who's improved more than that.

@movingslowly went from 1500 to over 2000 in bullet in two days. Then they went 1500 to +2200 in tactics in three days.

A year ago I was roughly 1900 in bullet, but my highest (on another account) was 2300 bullet. Now I don't really care much for ratings xD
