How to Counter Caro Kann Defense?

That's also my observation: many lower lated players choose the "one square pawn move" openings (French, Caro-Kann, Pirc) not to play them the way they are supposed to be played (let white get the center but prepare an attack against it) but rather as an excuse to playe passively and avoid the (supposedly) more risky e4 e5 openings.

Which is why I like variants that allow me to drive the game towards more open positions with tactical opportunities, e.g. Panov-Botvinnik against Caro-Kann or Austrian attack against Pirc. It may get me into trouble against stronger players but I would still like an interesting game like that more than closing down.

I've liked the Austrian attack against Pirc for a long time and I'm starting with Panov just recently as well!
I have a growing suspicion with these articles that more than the art is AI generated, possibly the entire article (with some light editing afterward).
The caro kann is famous opening of the black side when white move e4.
I sometimes play caro kann with black and i think it is interesting opening for black calves
Anyone else getting strong "this was written by AI" vibes from this piece? Repetitive structure, generic statements, alternating randomly between whether to include the "the" before Caro Kann... This article seems REALLY suspicious to me.
Is there anything wrong with the Panov Attack? (1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 cxd5 4. c4)
