- have you created the tournament in a team ? If not it's probably the reason

I made a normal tourney as i always did back in the days.
Do you need a team now a days for it to work?

Yes, For appearing in Lichess lobby it's more practice, because your friends and teammates will see it in the lobby.

I wanted to start a tourney not only for friends, i wanted to make one so everyone on lichess can join.

Possible but it won't will appear in the lobby. If you want to do like that, you need to send the link in p.m to your friends

Why should you, out of a million users, do that? If everyone could do that, then the list of arenas would be endlessly big, and hardly anyone would join yours, it could not work. Even the majority of team arenas and battles doesn't work very well.

Why should you, out of a million users, do that? If everyone could do that, then the list of arenas would be endlessly big, and hardly anyone would join yours, it could not work. Even the majority of team arenas and battles doesn't work very well.

I would because there is not to many players who play UB or 7 second parties.
I had many torunaments through the past years wich worked like a charm.
