My friend setup this website that shows historical FIDE rating graphs. It's pretty cool and you can look up any player! You can do something similar at 2700chess, but it only goes back to 1990 and it's only for top players.

That's a great website. I've tried the names of several players who have FIDE ratings and it only seems to know the strong players I submit.
Just saw this! I'm the developer of the website. MoralIntentions, the autocomplete function knows the names of all players with international titles. You can search for any player with a FIDE rating, but you just have to spell it right. You can check the FIDE website for the exact spelling they have on file. It does work for all FIDE rated players.
