When your opponent has one second, you have a second, too, he's only got a king and you have a bunch of active pieces, and you just moved a piece as fast as you could, to deliver him mate but - surprise, surprise! - a program moves your mating piece back and coldly announces that you just LOST ON TIME!
Funny? Well, depends from which point of view one looks at it. For my opponent it probably IS funny episode, no doubt. But for the loser?

I had something like that on a tenth of a second. I premoved it, but that didn't matter :P.
Did I say he's got a king only? I forgot to mention he's got one measly pawn as well... :)
Well, it's actually possible to checkmate with a king and a pawn, if the pawn promotes to a queen, you corner the king and defend the queen with the king ;) but yes, it's hard ;).

Played Drunken-Master, timed him out while he berserked against me, and he rage quit the tournament a few seconds later XD
