@LChessMaster3 nevertheless it's still bad play for a gm. He should have seen the threats, which shouldnt be too hard to see, against his king. It is sad.
Well, it looks like it was ultrabullet AND he berserked. So he would have had to premove just about everything, and the opponent took advantage of it. :P
And I thought bullet was fast...starting with 7.5 seconds on your clock!!!
Ten years ago in my local club we refused to analyze five minutes blitz games, because bad blunders happen at such short time controls. And now i see this thread with a discussion about a 15secs-game? - That's really sad!
@Karpfenkopf exactly. It seems that some people here don't even realize what's the saddest part here. Besides, I don't think Alireza was bothered by it at all. Maybe he was awed by a bizarre play of his opponent for a minute and then forgot about him for good. No one cares about "rated losses" unless they cost money one way or another.
