Btw, i just went in a chessclub 2 weeks ago for the First Time since my childhood and i played with a 79 years old grandma.
We talk a lot during the game and after the game but i still remember his first question "is that ok for you to play with a girl ?".
Our generation has to do his best and this question should never be asked again...

Thats a great but sad cartoon. Every year we lose talented chess players because of similar situations. Its pretty clear that this is a big problem in the chess community. Hopefully our generation can help improve and fix this issue. There shouldn't be room for sexism or any form for discrimination in chess.

Been teaching kids chess for a number of years and I've seen this kind of crap over and over. It's just harder for girls, mostly because many boys have so much trouble treating them like human beings. Heck, you don't really need to look farther than these threads each time they come up to see it in action.
