technically "pure" games

While MOST of us are not grandmasters, I believe any player knowing the rules and playing for sufficiently long time has had several games or fragments of games on a very decent level. Here are two examples from my recent games:

pl.lichess.org/wpKwtqDl4tRs
19 moves miniature, no mistakes, blunders or inaccuracies at all.

pl.lichess.org/UkRSb9Ke/white#93
I haven't made a mistake/inaccuracy until move 21, and my opponent - until pretty decisive 14. Bb7 ??

Please share your games that you have played very well, possibly much above your regular chess level.
Hi,

I appreciate the fact you've played a very good game. Congratulations :)

Still, I wouldn't say it is that great level of play, like grandmasters.

I can give one example.

Today in the morning I played two games against the same player.

Game number one:

pl.lichess.org/nI4rW3Qs/black

1 inaccuracy, 0 mistakes, 0 blunders - 9 centipawn loss

We can admit that finding the best moves in this game wasn't hard, not that my level of play is close to grandmasters'.

Just after the game we rematched.

Game number two:

pl.lichess.org/PloOvJOa/white

7 inaccuracies, 6 mistakes, 1 blunder, 54 cpl

Now had my level of playing dramatically decreased? No, it's the fact that the game was way harder technically - that's why both me and my opponent committed a lot of mistakes.

To sum up, I believe that making more or less mistakes does not actually reflect your chess skills. In my opinion master games are still a way better source of high play level.

Good luck in your future games :)
Hi,

I did not claim to play any of my games in grandmaster-like manner: I sinply stated that, in terms of standard Stockfish analysis, I have overperformed. While resulting games lack brilliance of GM style (in fact, their mistakelessness is usually "assisted" by oponents blunders), they are on a high technical level and in my opinion they are simply pleasant to look at.

I did not intend to brag - rather to see some other pleasant games from "common" players :) Games like the first one You have sent - very enjoyable!

Also, I believe it's natural that, on sub-master level, after a very good game comes worse one - ones overperformance may well be due to luck ;)
