A stupid chess variant idea based on a old April fools

I randomly thought of a hilariously stupid chess variant from this

lichess.org/blog/WN7V-jAAAAdH8ITR/announcing-instant-chess

I honestly think this is possible considering that pre-moving takes some milliseconds to happen.

But you might think, won't 99% of the games be done in <10 moves even if it is possible?

My idea is that if you aren't able to make a move on time. The server would make a random move out of all the possible moves instead of flagging you thus eliminating flagging.

TL;DR 0+0 time control + random move function instead of flagging.

Is this theoretically possible or not? Or it is but takes tons of money to create? Do you guys think this is boring or entertaining? Not that anybody here thinks highly of the already existing ultra bullet I guess.
