I tend not to do it, but when my opponent does not have a lot of pieces that can defend... it usually works...
How often do you try it?
en.lichess.org/3AexiNOD/blackWell, it's a surprise tactic then :D
pl.lichess.org/S0aVcIQe/white#64sacrifice for a checkmate (33.Rxh7+)
I sacrificed 2 rooks when my opponent dropped his queen (time pressure) but about 5%
The games where you do that and win look amazing, but when it dosnt work... then, omg... it horrible :D I know from experience xD
Well it depends.
How much time left does my opponent have on the clock? :P
en.lichess.org/zLSUHcKxBNPkIn this game I sacrificed my queen to force a back rank checkmate.
Well, what is a piece when you can get a craw pawn?
