A position similar to Caro-Kann, but with white pieces.

Hi, I started playing about 1 year ago, and I always had difficulties finding an opening where I felt comfortable and finding my style of play. Until recently I discovered Caro-Kann, an opening that I found incredible and easy to adapt, however, it is a defense, and I would like to ask if there is an opening for white, that is similar to Caro-Kann, no necessarily the same development or position, but that the game itself flows in a similar way, a semi-open opening.
Play the Queen's Gambit! For example, 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.cxd5 exd5 5.Bg5 is very similar to the Exchange Caro-Kann reached after 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.exd5 cxd5 4.Nf3 Nc6 5.c3 Bg4
It wouldn't hurt to try the English opening (1.c4) -- they're both solid openings that give good chances to systematically outplay your opponent without taking on an abundance of risk. They also both tend to be a bit more endgame oriented than your average opening.
I second Queen's Gambit. I play QG and Caro-Kann. I chose Caro-Kann for black as you end up with the same pawn structure, relative to your king, as QG.
I agree with these fine forum Posters - try the Queens Gambit. It's solid.
