draw?why?

This is a draw because of the "stalemate" rule. The opponents king has no legal moves, all squares are protected by your pawns or the queen, however it is NOT in check. With no pieces or pawns for black to move, it is stalemate, a draw. Always make sure your opponent has legal moves if you are not giving check.
It is blacks move and the King has no square left to go without moving into check. Also it is not in check at the moment. Following the international chess rules, this situation is declared a draw.

You are around 1900 glicko and don't know stalemate? I don't think this thread is serious.
Haha! As scuffi says, what is the most weird with this thread is an 1800+ player doesn't know about stalemate.

Is this thread a joke?
thank you guys.....finally i understand why this is a draw .....no legal moves for the King....and its called stalemate...lol.
