That move where Morphy sacs his rook to take a knight out, and has a bishop pinning the piece that retakes... I seen it in a few Morphy games, and don't see that in very many other people's games. It's definitely a fantastic tactic, but it's really rare.
The game looked nice enough, give this guy a break.
There is nothing that I would call "sacrifice" tho. 23...Rxd2 is a simple "win a knight in two" tactic, and 20...e5 is actually more into blunder territory.
Then again, interesting mate with pawn and three minor pieces. I think this motive is the real rarity worth looking at in this game.
