Paul Morphy Style

I think that this game of mine could have been a paul morphy game... Double rook sack

Awesome mate at the end
Nice game. Fischer seems right that 3...d6 refutes 3 Nf3.
Could you give the reason please ? It's not that clear to me :x
@Proustino

This is Paul Morphy's Opera Game...

Look at move 13. Rxd7!! Knocking out a sacrificing a rook for a knight in order to maintain the pin with the bishop.

Then compare that to a move in my game. Move 23 again Rxd2!! Same file same tactic 10 moves later opposite piece colors 160 years later...

Seems very similar to me.
That move where Morphy sacs his rook to take a knight out, and has a bishop pinning the piece that retakes... I seen it in a few Morphy games, and don't see that in very many other people's games. It's definitely a fantastic tactic, but it's really rare.
I find nothing Paul Morphy'ish here ...
first of all it is a different motive
secondly it´s not really spectacular when you are already 4 pawns up
The game looked nice enough, give this guy a break.

There is nothing that I would call "sacrifice" tho. 23...Rxd2 is a simple "win a knight in two" tactic, and 20...e5 is actually more into blunder territory.

Then again, interesting mate with pawn and three minor pieces. I think this motive is the real rarity worth looking at in this game.
