I've been using this defense (the maneuver with Nc6-e7-f5) and no one at my level has found a response to it.

I would say you have a better chance of explaining that than me, seeing as your play kind of demonstrates it ! @QueenMyPawn I would assume that the e4 square is a big reason why, and after Ne4 and Bxe4 that pawn is annoying to work around. But the main reason I can say it confidently is Stockfish says 11. f4 is bad ;)
