I was a skivvy waver in the gator navy.Plank owner USS Tarawa LHA1,served on USS Tuscaloosa(LST1198) also. 1975-1979

@Dukedog - I had it easy in the Navy...Spent my entire tour at the Naval Hospital in Key West Fla.

I was really lucky,4years active and peace the entire time.went to Panama,Mexico, Philippines and Japan
