Hello, my chess club is shut down due to Corona virus. We are thinking of organizing online tournaments. I don't know how to do so on Lichess. Thanks for every hint.

with "advanced settings" you could set a password, so its for clubmates only

You can also used the advanced settings to schedule tournaments ahead of time on certain dates!

I'm also in the same situation in South Italy, yesterday we played a private Arena tournament (with password to give to partecipants).
I would know if is possible to organize swiss tournaments.
Or Arena only ?

@jonium
Only arena unfortunately. Unless you want to manually organize a swiss tournament by scheduling matches yourself.

Hola, saben ustedes si para jugar torneos en lichess, hace falta haber jugado antes un número determinado de partidas.
Round robin or Swiss would be nice, really.
Is there a chat room for a defined number of players? In this case, it would be possible to organitze any type of tournament.

Is it possible to delete a tournament planned in future ?
AFAIK you need external scheduling software (which is also the case in e.g. the lichess4545.com leageus) and then individual opponents who get paired in the scheduling software should challenge each other here on lichess.org. Afterwards the result has to be filed in the scheduling software.
An example is e.g. also: challonge.com/lichesstournament
And this one I found earlier in "Correspondence Tournaments" team's forum: braacket.com/tournament/LiChessRated1
