Marathons by variants of chess

Hello lichess.
I want to suggest to do marathons on options for chess.
Yes, probably it will not be so many participants, but over time this will lead to the interest of the rest of the chess variant.
You may want to make them less prolonged in time. Example 12, 8 or 6 hours. And the award goes to the top 10 or top 50, depending on the number of participants.
I would love to play a Crazyhouse Marathon. After 6 hours playing, the most players get checkmated by each other within the first 10 moves I suppose :-D
Octathlon Marathon with all lichess variants at once via random order would be awesome if it is techically possible.
I like the idea! Not sure if it can be done, but I like the idea regardless. (Congrats Lance!)
This idea has been one I've looked for and hoped for to no avail... b/c it's a $%@& good one... and I would definitely participate.

Keeping the # of variants played in the 'variant tourney' limited to three - or even two - types at a time would, could, and should make participating less intimidating...

As for my two cents... the repetition/memorization in openings turns some off from variants as well... why haven't 960 elements been introduced to variants yet ??!!!??? (in theory, would negate some of the opening "traps" and make antichess, in particular, way more.... interesting for casual chess player trying out a variant...)... me thinks.
After that long haul Lance, I think the occasional typo is inevitable :p Well done @ the marathon - great play and nice berserking.
